There are many things you need to be aware of when submitting articles. By understanding the core concept behind this can not only save you time but also give you better results for your time spent. Expert tend to focus on doing article submission on established directories because they are more effective when it comes to getting powerful one way links. You can easily grab a list of all the established article directories on the net. Bloggers have shared this many times before so you should have no issue of getting this.

Narrow this list down to sets of 5, and submit to the good ones first. Then if you have more time you can submit to the others. Avoid new directories as they have little to no values at all. If you want long term results you must write quality content for these articles you submit. Google index unique contents better and tend to give more link power to these pages. Knowing this, you should make sure the contents you put out there are as unique as possible, and still readable by humans.

Don’t try to take shortcuts by using the same article over and over again. And definitely don’t use any of your website contents for article submission. If do this, your website will be affected and the work you do will be unless. You must understand that article submission may not give instant results but it’s like marketing, it takes time for the search engines and links to pick up and give you values. So the key is patience here. Think of article submission as an investment and you will enjoy it more! You should definitely not to rely to submitting articles alone to promote your website. Using a mixture of methods will give you the benefits of having different channel of traffic, not to mention that you will be more protected if one method doesn’t work out or the effectiveness of it dry out in the future.

Most of the online marketing people know that the power of the article marketing to promote their products and services to earn money on the Internet. But, the confusion question is which one is better, long articles or short articles to post?

Mostly online article marketing experts say that “the articles should be in between 400 words – 600 words, you can also add 50 more words or you can write 50 words less”. But, I disagree because of these three following good reasons.

Reason #1: Not Enough Details: In article marketing, articles are written to sell the products or services. So, the business people hire someone to write very informative quality articles on their products or services to increase the traffic to their website. Even though this is very good approach to improve the profit of their business, but as a normal article reader, we will look for the information as much as possible, I usually look for the details that go away from what a general article will give out.

It is annoying; when the reader just get the tip of iceberg, even the particular information may already known by the reader and / or it not contains the meat of subject. If the article is lack of information, then the reader conclude that the website owner is only interested in selling their products or services than providing the information on their products. The website owners should educate the reader on particular subject, make them interested on the topic and then bring the viewers to get into other pages of their web site.

Reason #2: No Experience or No Expertise: Most of the articles are written by those people, who have a little or no experience in the subject/on the subject/ with the subject. Through official sources you can find most of the information in majority of the articles which are goggled.

I don’t know about the other Internet surfers, but when I am surfing for information, I will look for real and personal experience like what tips will work for you, how you did, which are not worked and why it is not worked? This type of information saves me from doing same mistakes and gives the information about how to do it in better way. It is also borrows some air of truth to whatever you are making in sales pitch.

Reason #3: Many articles will explain what to do, but very few articles only explain what not to do. Many article writers concentrate on “How To” articles, these articles are fine, but these articles will take time to explain what not to do. If the reader is going to buy something, then that reader will look for “What Not to Do” information rather than “What to Do”. If your article writing is good enough, then reader will not get bored irrespective of number of words, isn’t? So, make interesting point in your articles and more importantly your content should be lively enough as well.
