This is the real life situation I entered my work as an IT support staff and one day start into one laptop that has been passed to me. After some diagnostics, I found bad sectors on your hard drive and many clunging voice each time I click on the laptop. Unfortunately, the individual has some important data on your hard drive and need to get it within 24 hours.

BIOS can not detect the hard disk. So I did some searching on the World wide web and found a real weird way to recover data. So I decided to test it, because I have other ways to recover data without having tried success. I wiped the hard drive of laptops, and in the fridge!

Now it is important that you do not set your hard drive in the fridge too long. I have found in about 30 minutes and then swiftly attached to your hard drive to an external hard drive enclosure with another personal through a USB port.

Strangely, it was the hard drive is detected and I copy the important data for personal individual needs as swiftly as possible.

I have done this several times and has not worked. However, I find to work only for short periods. Usually, you have a period of about 15-20 minutes so you copy to your personal as soon as doable after working hard drive.

Somehow the hard drive cooling temperatures helped a lot. Here’s another tip that I found. You can try the hard drive or tilted sideways at an angle of about 60 degrees down. I think that by this way I can extend the period to 10 minutes or more.

But I would remind you that just tried this method if all other methods for recovering data has failed. There is the possibility of a hard disk can be permanently dilapidated if it is in the fridge too long.

Moreover, this method only works if the disk is still rotating when turned on. When your hard disk spinning and not dead in the water, so that this method will not work.
