Web 2.0 is a term coined by O’Reilly Media in 2003 and popularized in the first Web 2.0 conference in 2004. Currently, many Web 2.0 Design popping up. The most favourite are such as blog sites (Blogger / WordPress), social networking sites (Facebook), or sites that use the favourite CMS like Drupal Development, Joomla, Mambo, and the others. Nearly all the sites mentioned above using Web 2.0 design.

Web 2.0 is not a new technology, but rather a method to build a web with the facilities that have long existed. In Web 1.0, a website built using HTML language. Web 2.0 is combination of several existing technologies. Technology used in Web 2.0, among others:

2. CSS

3. Ajax

4. RSS / Atom

Currently, the Web is no longer used only in terms of function, but also its appearance. Appearance of web will attract many visitors. It is often applied in making the Web. But do not close the possibility, when we get a website with a modern web interface, the web is not necessarily a Web 2.0.

Then about Web 2.0 design. If we observe, so many new things that can be found at the Web 2.0 design. Web 2.0 looks fresh when compared with Web antiquity. Color on the Web 2.0 look more striking. Web 2.0 is usually the dominant young bright colors or dark colors elegantly. In addition, the Web 2.0 design will look like a simple, bright, and looks more refreshed with the effects of glass, light and shadow.
